The Hamster songs...
We've been careful to provide examples of accurate and in tune singing for Harmony Hamsters. Kids learn by copying others so they might as well copy something that's decent! No background music means its easier to hear and learn the harmonies and how they work together.
Singing Tips
- Body alignment - OK hamsters might be short and round but they have good posture! This is vital to sing well, even when sitting, keep your upper body tall. Without good posture, we can't use the air property. And using air properly is vital to singing well.
- Breathing - there's breathing to speak and then there's breathing to sing! We hardly ever use a full tank of air for speaking, but we often do for singing. Allow the air to go all the way to bottom of your lungs as you inhale and your waist area should expand as you do so. As you sing and use the air up, the waist area should decrease in size.
